Oktoberfest Draft + Can Release!

Get your lederhosens ready!
On Saturday, September 22nd—the first official day of Oktoberfest—we’re releasing Oktoberfest. Our take on the classic Oktoberfest, brewed in the traditional style with a lengthy lagering process and all German malts and yeast.
And to mark this grand occasion, we’ve had custom steins made. Get your hands on a dimpled glass 44-ouncer for only $25, which includes a full pour of Oktoberfest!
Our take on the traditional Bavarian Märzen lager, Oktoberfest is unabashedly malt-forward. This medium-bodied, dry lager exemplifies balance between a carefully curated selection of German malts, ester-free lager yeast, and the appropriate tinge of continental hop character. Captivating aromas of actively baking bread and palate sensations of toffee-laced sourdough crust punctuate every aspect of the drinking experience, to the extent that our arms are already tired from raising our steins!
(In an effort to encourage responsible drinking, steins will be a one-time fill only—but yes, you can purchase additional pints afterwards. And we may invite you to bring ’em back to the Taproom for future specials.).

At noon, we’ll be live-streaming the Great American Beer Festival’s Awards Ceremony. With four of our beers (see below!) competing in what is essentially the Olympics of the beer world, we’re anxiously awaiting the Big Day! Join us as we not only cheer on Team Jailbreak, but our fellow Maryland brethren brewers also participating in this year’s competition.
