Triple Beer Release: Saison Saturday!

We’re here to make the argument that saisons warrant consideration as the perfect summertime sipper. And we’re kicking off our display of adoration with a triple beer release of these farmhouse ales on Saturday, July 27th.
Q.Cumber, our beloved cucumber saison, makes its triumphant return, along with Saison with Watermelon for People who Enjoy Watermelon—a watermelon saison, if you hadn’t already guessed that—and Saison Dry Hopped Once More Than Once, a saison double-dry hopped with Hüll Melon and Lemon Drop.
For those unfamiliar with Q.Cumber, it’s a saison brewed with gin botanicals, rosewater, and a hint of caraway. Slightly sweet on the front and refreshingly dry on the finish, Q is all about depth, complexity and a nod to the purity of Mother Nature.
We’re extremely excited to try some homebrew variations of Q.Cumber on release day, during our first ever homebrew competition, aptly named Can you Brew Q? From 1 to 2:30 p.m., a handful of homebrewers will be joining us in the Taproom with 64 oz. of their creations for our judges to taste. We’ll also have a popular vote! More details here.
Both new variants are wheat-driven and fermented with a blend of saison yeast strains. We’re hand-picking watermelons from Gorman Farms in Laurel to juice and add to Saison with Watermelon for People who like Watermelon, adding some color to the base and offering a sweet melon character. As for the double-dry hopped saison, Hüll Melon hops provide ample strawberry and honeydew melon flavors/aromatics.
All three available in 16 oz. cans and on draft.
