Technical aspects of Talk- Wireshark, Tshark, Volatility, SDN
Mr. Joseph Bull, System Security Engineer (CISSP & CSEP), and Mr. Michael McAlister, Protocol Analyst (GCIH, CSM), assisted in Booz Allen Hamilton winning the 2016 Digital Forensics Research Work Shop (DFRWS) international SDN digital forensics challenge. This was achieved by incorporating Volatility and Tshark, which led to the complete enumeration of the network and SDN network flow rules. Mr. Bull and Mr. McAlister will discuss the steps which enabled the team to forensically enumerate the SDN network using only open source tools.
