Sagamore Spirit Barrel-Aged Beer Night

Sagamore Spirit will be joining us in the Taproom on Friday, January 31st, for a li’l barrel-aged beer party!

From 5 to 11 p.m., we’ll have a Sagamore pop-up bar, serving specialty flights, beer + shot pairings, cocktails, and more. At the heart of the celebrations is our barrel-aged Van Dammit, our GABF gold medal-winning Belgian Dark Strong Ale.

After resting in Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey barrels for 27 months, Van Dammit becomes an entirely different beast. Deep impressions of candied fruitcake, English toffee, and concord grape jelly lay atop a firm platform of pleasurable oak tannin, thereby providing both structure and an overall balance of flavor that can only be achieved through long-term maturation.

We’ll also have Sagamore rep Carlee (our lovely friend and former sales rep!) on site from 5 to 8 p.m. to chat all things Rye Whiskey.
