Python is a popular powerful programming language and is growing in popularity for data science applications. The GPU Open Analytics Initiative focuses on creating common data frameworks to enable developers and statistical researchers to accelerate data science on GPUs.
In this enlightening talk, Dr. Brad Rees, Sr. Solution Architect at NVIDIA, will highlight the performance gains possible and discuss how a programmer can take advantage of the GPU-accelerated analytics without having to know anything about GPUs.
Doors open at 5 p.m.; talk starts around 6 p.m.
